HOLIDAY CUTIE - ACTION WOBBLER CARD

 

Hello, Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today I have a fun and easy card design to share with you all.
I'm using a cute Unity Stamp Company Stamp kit for todays card design.
 

Today’s card also features the fun and interactive Art Impressions Mini Action Wobblers.

These gadgets are so neat, allowing you to pop up almost any image and make them
wiggle and jiggle around on your card front.

To begin today's project I started with the card base,  making an A2 top folding card,

using the Stampin' Trimmer for my cutting and scoring, using White Linen Cardstock.

 

I started by stamping my sentiment onto my card front using the Holiday Cutie Stamp kit,

Stamping the little “Tis The Season To be Jolly” sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
 

I then stamped the gorgeous little penguin that comes in the Holiday Cutie Stamp kit

above my sentiment, also stamping the penguin image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
 

I stamped the penguin image once more with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a piece of scrap

Whisper White Cardstock and coloured the image in using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

 

I then fussy cut out my coloured image using my Paper Snip Scissors, adhering the coloured

penguin onto the card base with an Art Impressions Mini Action Wobbler to give the card

design a fun and interactive affect.
 

As a finishing touch to the action wobbler penguin I added some Clear Wink Of Stella to

the little penguins scarf, giving the card design a little sparkle and some added interest.
 

A fun and easy card design made in under 30 minutes, and oh so cute!

A great card for younger children with that fun interactive element.

POPPY BUNDLE - THANK YOU CARD

Hello, welcome back everyone!

Today I have a special Thank You card to share with you all,

Today’s card was created using stamps from Unity Stamp Company.

 

Today’s card I made for Andrea Garvick, the director of customer services at Unity,

Andrea has gone above and beyond helping me over the last few months and I just wanted

to send her a little something to let her know all her help has been tremendously appreciated.

I started off by making an A2 top folding card out of Trophee Board White Linen cardstock,

Using my We R Memory Keepers Trim & Score Board to do all my trimming and paper scoring.

 

For the focal image on today's card I’ve used the gorgeous little Poppy Bundle Itty Bitty Stamp Kit,

I stamped the poppy flowers onto my card front using Versamark ink and then sprinkled the image

with Rangers Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder before heat embossing the image with my heat tool

 

While I had everything out I also heat embossed the poppy flower bundle onto the back flap of a

Whisper White C6 Envelope, using Rangers Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder again to add a nice touch.

 

 

The little Thank You sentiment comes from the Best Fishes Stamp kit, I masked off the bottom half of the

sentiment to just have the words “Thank You”, I've stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink onto my

Basic Black sentiment strip before heat embossing it with Ranger Super Fine White Embossing Powder.

 

To assemble the card I adhered the sentiment stripe over the middle of the poppy flower bundle,

adhering the strip down with a Foam Adhesive Strip to give the card some dimension and depth.

 

I wanted to keep this card design minimal with a lot of open white space but I felt it just needed
another small embellishment, so I added three Doodlebug Designs Beetle Black Enamel Dots
around the focal image.

 

 

This card looks so pretty in real life with that gorgeous Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder,

I hope Andrea likes her little gift I got her and this sparkly gold thank you card.

WOODLAND DEER | REPEAT STAMPING

 

Hello, Happy Monday everyone!

Today I have created a card featuring easy repeat stamping.

 

Repeat stamping is a great technique, it may look difficult but is in fact super easy to create,

This is a fantastic way to stretch smaller stamp images and gives the card a totally new look.

 

For today’s card design I’ve chosen to use one of the many beautiful stamp sets available
from Unity Stamp Company, I'm using one of my favorite stamp sets created by Angie Blom.

 

I started by making an A2 top folding card out of Thick Whisper White smooth cardstock,

Using my We R Memory Keepers Trim & Score Board to do all my trimming and paper scoring.

 

Using the floral antlers from the Woodland Deer stamp set from Unity Stamp Company,

I stamped my entire pattern in only one colour, using Stampin’ Up! Rich Razzlebberry ink.

I started off by stamping once in the middle of the card front as a sort of rough guide line,

I then stamped once more to the left and right, giving me a compete row of floral antlers.

I’ve repeated this process down the card until the whole card front had a nice pattern.

 

To keep the sentiment minimal I opted to use the Altenew Label love stamp set,

Stamping my label onto Whisper White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

 

Lastly I fussy cut out the label and adhered it to my card front using Foam Adhesive Strips,

This gave the card a bit of dimension and some added depth, so it wasn’t completely flat.

 

A quick and easy card design that was super fun to make.
