SPOOKY FUN - HALLOWEEN CARD SET

 

Hello, Happy Friday everyone!

Today I’m excited to share a set of Halloween cards that I made,

Today’s cards feature the awesome Spooky Fun Photopolymer Bundle again.

 

This set of cards is quick and easy to make and would make a perfect gift,

A very minimal card design with a lot of white space, but still eye catching!

 

I started off by making eight A2 top folding cards out of Trophee Board White Linen cardstock,

Using my We R Memory Keepers Trim & Score Board to do all my trimming and paper scoring.

 

I then stamped my sentiments using the Stampin’ Up! Spooky Fun Photopolymer Stamp Set,

stamping four cards with “Happy Halloween” and four with “Trick Or Treat”, using Memento

Tuxedo Black Ink.

 

For the four “Happy Halloween” cards I took the awesome moon from the stamp set and

stamped the moon above each sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, slightly offsetting
the moon to the left of the sentiment as I stamped.

 

Using the coordinating Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies from the bundle, I then die cut out
two bats and witches, using some retired Stampin' Up! Black Glimmer Paper from last year’s
Holiday Catalogue.

 

I then adhered the bats and witches to each card base, using Best Creation Small Square
Foam Tape Dots, slightly overlapping the stamped moon as I placed them onto the cards.

 

Lastly I adhered three Studio Calico Wood Veneer Tiny Stars around each moon image,

adhering the Tiny Stars with a small amount of Tombow Mono Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
 

For the four “Trick Or Treat” cards I stamped a few extra elements onto the card bases,

I used the adorable set of three ghosts above two of the sentiments, and stamped two

solid little bats that are in the stamp set above the last two Trick Or Treat sentiments,

stamping everything in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

 

Next I stamped two tombstones in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Basic Gray Cardstock,

and two sets of pumpkins in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, I’ve

then used the coordinating dies to die cut each image out - super quick and easy!

 

Again I adhered the pumpkins and tombstones to each card base, using small
Best Creation Square Foam Tape Dots, giving each card that pop of dimension.

 

As a finishing touch I added some Clear Wink Of Stella to the stamped bats,

This just gave these two cards a bit of sparkle and some added interest.

 

A set of eight cards that were super quick and easy to make!

A BOO-TIFUL TREAT !

Hello, Happy Wednesday everyone!

I am so excited to share these cute little BOO-tiful treats that I made,

These are quick and easy to make and are super simple to mass produce in no time.
Inside every treat is a little cellophane wrapped gummy eye ball - perfect for Halloween!
 

Since Halloween isn’t celebrated here in New Zealand like it is in the States I’m giving away

one of these to each child at the school where my mother works as a cute little Halloween treat.

 

 

For today’s project I started off by picking three different pieces of patterned paper from the retired

Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper stack, and used my We R Memory Keepers Trim & Score Board

to do all my paper trimming and scoring.

 

Using three different patterns of paper from the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper stack,

I trimmed each 12 x 12 sheet into 1 5/8” wide stripes and then cut each stripe in half at 6”,

I then scored every 6” strip at 3” to give them a clean and crisp fold line.

 

 

The small round BOO sentiment comes from the retired Cheer All Year Photopolymer Stamp Set,

I stamped 20 BOO sentiments in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock,

and 20 more using Tangelo Twist ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock, giving me 40 in total!

 

The most time consuming part of making these little treats was die cutting each sentiment out,

Every BOO sentiment was die cut out (one at a time) using a small circle from the Hero Arts
Infinity Dies Nesting Circles die set.

 

 

To assemble each treat I added a small amount of ribbon folded in half and used the Handheld

Stapler to attach the ribbon to the Designer Series Paper, this also closed each little treat shut,

while still allowing enough room for the gummy eye balls to be slipped in the side.

 

Lastly I adhered the colour coordinating BOO sentiments to each little treat using a large

Best Creation Square 3D Foam Tape Dot, just to give each sentiment a pop of dimension.

  

 

These were such fun to make, and I can’t wait to give them out to all the kids!

SPOOKY FUN - HALLOWEEN CARDS

 

Hello, welcome back everyone!

Today I have two Halloween cards to share with you all,

Today’s cards were created using the Spooky Fun Photopolymer Bundle.

 

I decided to make two of each card design, just changing the base colour,

Making two with Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and two with Basic Gray Cardstock.

 

I started today’s project by making four A2 top folding card out of my chosen cardstock,

Using my We R Memory Keepers Trim & Score Board to do all my trimming and paper scoring.

 

To make the background for the cards, I started by repeatedly stamping three sentiments from

the Spooky Fun Photopolymer Stamp Set, stamping each sentiment three times to the card base,

stamping in Pumpkin Pie Ink onto the Pumpkin Pie card base, and Whisper White Craft Ink

onto the Basic Gray card base.

 

The sentiment banners are made from Basic Black Cardstock, cut down to a 3/8” wide stripe,

I stamped the “Happy Halloween” sentiment form the Spooky Fun Photopolymer Stamp Set,

with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger Super Fine White Embossing Powder.

 

Taking the moon from the same stamp set I heat embossed four moons onto Vellum Cardstock,

Again using Versamark ink to stamp each image, and heat embossing them with Ranger Super

Fine White Embossing Powder.

 

 

The vellum moons were die cut out using a circle from Hero Arts Infinity Dies Nesting Circles die set,

I allowed a bit of extra vellum around the moons to give a soft halo affect around the sides.

 

I then used the Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies from the bundle to die cut out 12 bats,

Using some retired Stampin’ Up! Black Glimmer Paper from last year’s Holiday Catalogue.

 

 

To assemble my cards I layered the Happy Halloween banners over the vellum moon circles,

and adhered them to the card front over the repeat stamping with Foam Adhesive Strips,

Hiding the Foam Stripes under the black banner.

 

I then adhered three bats to each card using Best Creation Small Square 3D Foam Tape Dots,

and lastly I added three Beetle Black Enamel Dots from Doodlebug Design to each card.

 

This is a fantastic bundle with so many possibilities and I can’t wait to use it again!
