Hello, Happy Saturday everyone!
Today’s card I created for this week’s CASology
challenge,
Our cue card / challenge at CASology this week
is "Congratulations".
I wanted to create a soft and elegant look for
this wedding day congratulations card,
I ended up choosing Basic Gray, White Linen and Silver
for today’s colour combination.
I started today’s project by making an A2 top
folding card out of Basic Gray cardstock,
Using my We R Memory Keepers Trim & Score
Board to do all my trimming and paper scoring.
Using My Favorite Things Die-Namics Blueprints die
set 23, I die cut a banner for my sentiment out of Trophee Board White Linen
cardstock, I then stamped my banner using the Best Birds Stamp Set from Stampin’
Up!, stamping the word congratulations in Smoky Slate ink.
Next I used the My Favorite Things Die-Namics
Blueprints die set 22, I then die cut a thin strip of Silver Glimmer Paper to
sit under my banner, for the last of the die cutting I used the Hollyhocks
die from Impression Obsession
to die cut some flowers out of Trophee Board White Linen cardstock.

To add a bit of interest to the card, and to help the die cut elements stand out from the card base I adhered a small messy bundle of Silver Metallic Thread under all the die cut pieces, for my last finishing touch to the card I also added a few Pearl Basic jewels around the focal area.
Another quick and easy card to make - three die cuts, thread and some pearls!
