SIMPLE MASCULINE FATHER'S DAY CARD

Hello, welcome back everyone!

Today’s card I created with two great challenges in mind,

I have combined the two for this quick and simple masculine Father’s Day card.

 

The first challenge I’ll be entering this card into is at As You See It, with the theme DAD.

I’ll also be playing at CASology for the first time with this week’s Cue Card - Masculine.

 

 

I chose to go for a very minimal (uncluttered) one layered card design for this card,

I really love all the clean “white space” with that pop of Pear Pizzazz off to the right.

 

As always I started by making an A2 top folding card out of Trophee Board White Linen cardstock,

Using my We R Memory Keepers Trim & Score Board to do all my trimming and paper scoring.

 

 

I then began by using the new Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set, pairing the words Happy and Father's

Day to make my full sentiment, stamping both words one at a time in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

 

Next I used the large ink splatter stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set and stamped the ink splatter in Pear Pizzazz ink just slightly above the sentiment, using the sentiment as a sort of guide line for my placement.

 

 

To finish the card off I used the Guy Greetings stamp set and stamped the vintage car in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamping the car just slightly over the Pear Pizzazz ink splatter while still leaving some of the car uncoloured.

 

A super easy card to make, but I sometimes think these turn out to be the best cards,
